I have over 25 years of security experience working as a security officer to instructing security officers to managing security programs primarily in the education sector (K-12 & collegiate).  I use an "end user" lens with reviewing, designing, writing policies and procedures, and training staff on security and emergency protocols.  Here are past achievements:  

• Started a Campus Security program from scratch for the largest school district in Oregon
• Managed a $25 million physical security bond project for the 4th largest school district in Oregon
• Instructor for DPSST Unarmed Private Security (12 years), DPSST Armed Private Security (2 years), First Aid/CPR/AED Basic Life Support (10 years), defensive tactics including collapsible baton and OC spray, patrol tactics, school emergency procedures (Lockdown & Lockout drills), etc.

 Most schools and educational institutions struggle with security and emergency preparedness.  You could have the best physical security  and emergency plans in the world, but they are mostly useless without well trained security officers, staff, and administrators.  I can help your educational institution enhance its safety and security by conducting a comprehensive review of existing infrastructure and policy & procedures to understand what is working, what is not working, and what is potentially wasting resources.  I can then come up with revised policies & procedures, design a training plan, and if needed, design an updated physical security plan for you educational institution.
